60 targets built for church safety teams, school guardian and resource-officer programs, and the instructors who train them: sanctuaries, aisles, school hallways and building lobbies, with congregants, children and bystanders in the scene.

The job in these buildings is rarely just the shot. It is picking out the one person who is a threat, accounting for everyone behind and around them, and holding fire when the person in front of you is frightened, angry or simply in the way. Ten of the designs put an armed threat among people who are not; two are no-shoots with no weapon at all, so the answer is never automatic.

Five copies of each design lets a team run the same problem cold, talk through it, and run it again.
