Mark Buff is the founder and CEO of GunZee. Mark is a dedicated firearms enthusiast and has been carrying concealed for over 15 years.
Mark holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
As a defense contractor, Mark developed technologies to detect and neutralize IEDs, including advanced antenna systems for military vehicles. In the commercial space, he founded Mohu, the company behind the best-selling Leaf antenna, which revolutionized TV viewing and sold over a million units annually through major retailers. Mohu was acquired in January 2020.
A serial entrepreneur with success across multiple companies, Mark started GunZee to solve his own problem. He was tired of being gouged by stiff KYDEX holsters and invented the GunZee holster pad to make his own daily carry more comfortable.
After rave reviews by the gun community for his initial memory foam holster pad, Mark released additional variations, including heavy-duty versions. He also added other firearm-related accessories, such as gun cleaning kits, range and backpacks, and survival / trauma kits.
